FIELD: wood-working industry.
SUBSTANCE: accounting fir-tree and its whorl is chosen. Then the primary branch inside the chosen whorl is chosen with the measurement of the geodesic direction of its stem, the main sample is cut from the end of the stem in the form of a branch for the analysis of its water-holding capacity. After cutting each branch is placed in a container for transportation. The retrospective age of the chosen branches is determined starting from the terminal shoot, after cutting with the mark of the current time of cutting and the number of the whorl. In the laboratory conditions, the cut branches are weighed with recording in the log of time passed from cutting each branch to the moment of weighing. Each branch is divided to the petiole and the sample of needles, and the petiole and the sample of needles are also weighed with indication of the moment of measurement time, and after repeated weighting the petioles and samples of needles from the cut branches and drying them under ambient conditions until reaching the constant weight the amount of needles in each sample is counted.
EFFECT: invention provides a complexity of analysis of fir-tree crown.
