FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device is intended for use in oil and gas industry for firing of thermit compositions. Said compositions are used in welding electrochemical protection terminals to pipelines to be protected against corrosion. Proposed device comprises case 1 to accommodate firing thermit composition 2 and igniting composition 3. Said compositions are squeezed by inverted cup 5 with tapered cylinder bottom. Bottom central part has a holed tightly stopped by film 6. Sealed definite-diameter holes are made in aforesaid case, above cup edge. Electric igniter 7 is arranged inside aforesaid case.

EFFECT: higher reliability under unfavorable conditions.
