FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for compaction of pelletised materials. Roller press comprises two moving rolls separated by roll space. Said rolls are fitted on shafts to revolve and displace in opposite horizontal directions thereat. Roll shafts run in bearing housings fixed in the bed. Two housings of bearings for different rolls mounted on their sides are connected via, at least, one press cylinder with, at least, two working chambers. Forces in said working chambers act in different directions. Note here that said chambers are communicated for pressurised working medium circulation.
EFFECT: decreased overall dimensions, simplified replacement of rolls.
