FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to legated glasses, which can be used as anti-Stokes visualisers of IR-radiation with λ≈0.89-0.99 mcm, active medium of amplifiers and laser converters, functioning in band of anti-Stokes luminescence, as well as for visual control of laser IR-radiation power. Luminescent glass contains silicon dioxide, ytterbium oxide Yb2O3, erbium oxide Er2O3 and rubidium oxide Rb2O with the following component ratio, wt %: SiO2 - 85.8-92.7; Yb2O3 - 4.9-9.8; Er2O3 - 0.8-2.4; Rb2O - 1.6-2.4.
EFFECT: creation of glass with high effectiveness of anti-Stokes luminescence in case of excitation in spectral region with λ≈0,89-0,99 mcm, and high section of amplification in main band of anti-stokes luminescence.
