FIELD: glass ceramics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass ceramics for active media for lasers which safe for vision of spectral range and for luminophores. Method of producing glass ceramics with nanosized crystals of solid solutions of titanates-zirconates of rare-earth elements consists of synthesis of glass of composition, mol%: MgO 12-30, Al2O3 12-35, SiO2 40-75, TiO2 0.1-12 (over 100 %), ZrO2 0.1-10 (over 100 %), Er2O3 0.1-2 (over 100 %), Yb2O3 0.1-8 (over 100 %), As2O3 0.1-2.0 (over 100 %) in silit furnace at temperature of 1,560-1,600 °C for 3-8 hours. Composition is then cast into a metal plate and annealed at temperature 600-700 °C and cooled. Obtained glass workpiece is subjected to isothermal heat treatment at temperature 800-1,300 °C for 1-48 hours. Glass ceramic has luminescent properties, high mechanical strength, chemical resistance and is safe during production.
EFFECT: technical result consists in making glass ceramics with nanosized crystals of titanates-zirconates of erbium and/or ytterbium, having luminescence.
