FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: shock absorber includes an adjustment device connecting an above-piston chamber and a below-piston chamber of an internal cylinder. The adjustment device includes a thermally sensitive element that is connected to the piston adjusting the flow passage value, through which working liquid flows via a bypass tube. The piston end is compressed with a spring returning it to the adjustment device housing. When the thermally sensitive element is heated, its volume increases and it displaces the piston that covers the flow passage. Alternate operation of two adjustment devices is provided with two shutoff valves passing working liquid only in one direction.
EFFECT: achieving constancy of damping properties, increasing operating life of a shock absorber under low temperature conditions.
