FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for damping vibrations of vehicle suspensions. The shock absorber contains a cylinder with radial holes and a rod with a piston. The compensation chamber is located in the lower part of the cylinder. In the middle part of the cylinder, a clip is installed. The throttle and the safety valves of the compression and rebound motion are installed in the piston. Two hydraulic channels and two check valves, made coaxially in the tee-fitting, are installed outside the cylinder. The upper and lower bolts are mounted laterally at the upper and lower ends of the cylinder and are connected to the over- and under-piston cavities through the upper and lower radial holes. Inside the clip, a groove is made, communicating with two rows of radial holes in the middle part of the cylinder. The groove is also connected to the upper and lower bolts. A sealing ring is installed in the middle part of the piston. The upper and lower edges of the piston are made in the form of truncated cones, forming the upper and lower annular conical slots with the cylinder.
EFFECT: technical result is simplifying the design and reducing the weight of the shock absorber while increasing its damping properties, reliability and smooth motion of vehicles on almost any type of road.
