FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for georadar location of permafrost rocks, involving probing with multiple measurements of signals within a 3-5 m radius around points of a survey or monitoring geophysical network based on deterministic schemes with elements of randomness on parameters of location and orientation of transmit-receive antennae of the georadar. Summation of random realisations of georadar signals accumulated in the vicinity of points of the geophysical network enables to construct one-dimensional or two-dimensional probabilistic generalised images of the georadar signals. Based on said images, along with generalised columns of wells or other shallow excavations, stable and reliable effective estimates of true mean values of specific attenuation of the amplitude of georadar signals are calculated.
EFFECT: high accuracy of probing data.
