FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: code scale comprises m data code tracks and n=2m read elements. All data code tracks are configured to comply with binary sequence symbols 0011 with length 4. Note here that i^th data code track (i=1, 2…,m) is configured to comply with symbols N=4^(i-1) of binary sequence periods. Two read elements are arranged along each data code tracks at angular spacing multiple of δ_i=360°/4ⁱ, apart from multiplicity 4δ_i, where δ_i is magnitude of quantum of i^th data code track and δ_m defines resolution of code scale. Outputs of n read elements define code scale output capacity.

EFFECT: decreased weight and sizes.
