FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: code scale comprises m data code tracks and n=2m read elements. All data code tracks are configured to comply with binary sequence symbols 0011 with length 4. Note here that ith data code track (i=1, 2…,m) is configured to comply with symbols N=4(i-1) of binary sequence periods. Two read elements are arranged along each data code tracks at angular spacing multiple of δi=360°/4i, apart from multiplicity 4δi, where δi is magnitude of quantum of ith data code track and δm defines resolution of code scale. Outputs of n read elements define code scale output capacity.
EFFECT: decreased weight and sizes.
