FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular, to gardening. The method includes preparing the soil with a preliminary removal of weeds by loosening and seeding grasses. At that preparing the soil is carried out by its exposure out of crop for at least two years, followed by planting cultivated fruit and berry crops according to the scheme adopted in this area of gardening. Weed growth is blocked by band planting in a row of low-growing perennial grasses with good shadowing ability of the soil. At that, with the growth of fruit and berry crops, the intensity of penetrating radiant energy through the crown decreases, perennial grasses planted in a row in the subsequent years gradually die off.
EFFECT: method enables to improve the efficiency of weed control in rows of the band planting of low-growing perennial grasses.
