FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to a method for production of food eggs enriched with covalently bound iodine. Method is characterized by the fact that into the diet of laying hens feeding daily throughout their productive period is introduced into the feedstuff or with water for drinking iodized whey proteins of cow milk or iodated hydrolysates of whey proteins of cow milk in amount of 0.5 to 0.7 g of iodine per 1 ton of fodder.
EFFECT: invention usage allows to produce a product with high iodine content.
