FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas wet cleaning. Proposed system comprises cooler, scrubber equipped with spray humidifiers, gas cleaner composed of confuser and diffuser connected at throat area and sprayer system with atomisers arranged in confuser, spray catcher, smoke exhauster, funnel and transfer gas ducts. System is equipped with pre-humidification assembly mounted at cooler bottom, ahead of scrubber. Gas cleaner comprises rectangular confuser and diffuser and is equipped with extra confuser connected with diffuser and confuser at throat area, two half-baffles with flat working surfaces with rounded ends fitted in said extra confuser to control throat area formed by working surfaces of said half-baffles and end faces of extra confuser. Note here that half-baffles are fitted on extra confuser shafts coupled with control drive and articulated to allow synchronous turn in adjustment of throat area.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of cleaning.
