FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water treatment and may be used for water treatment in heat and water supply systems and other processes that suffer scaling as well as for protection against growth of algae bacteria and corrosion inside metallic tubes. Proposed device comprises means to generate radio-frequency signals and means to feed said signals to pipeline provided with output transformer and clamp. Said means to generate radio-frequency signals comprises cyclic frequency switch that varies RF signal frequency. Said means to feed said signals comprises antenna to be connected to one of output transformer secondary terminals. Second terminals of said secondary is connected to pipeline system. Cyclic RF signal frequency switch changes the frequency in two steps.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of water treatment, expanded operating performances.
