FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of processing bedding droppings and cattle and small ruminant dung into fuel briquettes. The method involves making fuel briquettes in cylinder form by separating material and mixing with filler materials in a forced-type mixer to obtain a homogeneous mass with moisture content of 25-55%. Preliminary crushing is carried out in a rotary crusher if the bedding used is straw, husks, seeds etc and no crushing is involved if the bedding used is separated peat or fine sawdust. If crushing is carried out, the degree of grinding ranges from 0 to 6 mm, with allowance of separate inclusions of fractions of up to 10-15 mm in amount of 10% of the total weight. The crushed dropping or dung mass is fed into the forced mixer. After mixing in the mixer, the prepared mass is fed by a transporter or manually with a shovel into a hopper of a special extruder, in which at pressure of 150-200 kg/cm2, the mass is homogenised, packed and moulded in an output extruder orifice. When moulding, a certain portion of moisture is squeezed out in an inter-flange gap of the orifice and the housing of the extruder, while providing output moisture of the moulded briquette which is 5-7% less compared to the starting mass. The briquettes are dried at temperature not higher than 50-60°C and for not more than 30-50 minutes with intense blowing with warm air, or in good sunny weather are dried on open blown areas protected from rain.

EFFECT: use of the invention simplifies the briquetting process.
