FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: device to control an airplane door comprises a locking mechanism with door locks and a stopping mechanism, preventing accidental opening of the door, operating from a handle installed on the main shaft fixed on the door and capable of rotation. The handle is formed from two sections installed on the main shaft and made as capable of both their joint and independent movement relative to each other due to displacement of the second section of the handle relative to the first section. The first section of the handle is kinematically connected by the stopping mechanism preventing rotation of the main shaft during rotation of the second section. The second section by means of the main shaft is connected with the locking mechanism of the door. The grip of the first section of the handle and the grip of the second section of the handle are arranged with a gap relative to each other in respect to each other in a position, when sections of the handle are closed together. The grip of the first section of the handle is made with a slot under a response element in the form of a ledge on the grip of the section of the handle.
