FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: double-loop parametric scatterer has an antenna loaded on a nonlinear element in form of a double-frequency parametric generator consisting of a nonlinear capacitor and, connected in parallel to said capacitor, two series-connected electric circuits tuned at different frequencies, the sum or difference of which is equal to the frequency of the probing signal, and a second antenna connected in parallel to one of the two electric circuits and tuned to frequency of said circuit, which is the frequency of the response signal of the double-loop parametric scatterer, and the first antenna is tuned to frequency of the probing signal. The first and second antennae, as well as the inductors of the electric circuits are made based on strip technology on one substrate with connection of the capacitive elements of the electric circuits by point-to-point wiring.

EFFECT: high efficiency of the double-loop parametric scatterer by providing better matching of the nonlinear element and the antenna system.
