FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. The beverage composition contains fat including at least 40 wt % conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) in a triglyceride form, protein in an amount of 2 - 8 wt %, a thickener and a water phase, containing no or no more than 4 wt % of sugar. The beverage composition energy value is less than 100 kcal/100 g. CLA contains c9t11 and t10c12 isomers, the weight ratio of c9t11 isomer to t10c12 isomer varying from 99:1 to 1:99, from 90:10 to 10:90 or from 80:20 to 20:80. the production method includes (i) formation of an emulsion of fat in a water phase in the presence of a protein, (ii) formation of a dispersion or solution of the thickener in a water phase, (iii) mixing the compositions prepared at Stages (i) and (ii) under shear conditions, (iv) optionally - addition of one or more additional ingredients (v) optionally - homogenisation and/or pasteurisation and (vi) optionally - cooling. The beverage composition is applied for body weight optimisation.
EFFECT: group of inventions aimed at production of a product with a low energy value, with good organoletic (taste, complex taste and aroma impression and homogeneity) and technological properties, the product possessing good stability and resistance to oxidation, with the said portieres preserved in the process of storage.
