SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, namely to food compositions proposed for lowering or controlling body weight such as food products - food substitutes. Nutrient confectionary stick contains source of non-soluble bivalent metals ions and from 0.1 to 6% wt of alginate having molecular mass at least 0.5×105 and L-guluron acid at least 60% of main quantity of hexuronic acid in alginate.
EFFECT: invention provides for increased fullness feeling and faster fullness feeling during longer time in comparison with traditional kinds of such food products.
