One or several lengthwise grooves are arranged on tire tread surface 1 to extend there along and multiple side blocks 6 extending across the tread to terminate in lengthwise grooves. Set of blocks is formed by lengthwise and side grooves. Openings 13, 15 to receive the studs are arranged in said blocks so that openings in tire tread contact spot do not overlap in tread lengthwise direction.
