FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: protection of cables attached to supports from snow and icing is provided through a strong outer flexible sheath made from hydrophobic material, having an inner jumper connecting its walls inside, wherein in the space between the jumper and the outer sheath, there is a strong flexible cable which is inserted into an inner non-conducting sheath. To provide high hardness of the protective structure of the cable in areas exposed to strong winds, the inner sheath can further be strongly attached to the outer sheath, for example using an adhesive.
EFFECT: high reliability of protection.
