FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of the construction industry, in particular, to extended cable-stayed structures, for example, in bridge construction, operated in conditions of snow sticking and ice formation on the braces. The brace contains power strands, protective inner and outer hydrophobic shells, the section of the outer shell is made non-circular, in the form of an ellipse with a horizontal position of the larger axis of the section and with the possibility of elastic deformation to the shape of a circle, the outer shell is made elastic, mounted on the inner shell with the possibility of relative sliding, equipped with sealing elements in the attachment points on the brace and a device for supplying air under pressure, for example, using a fitting.
EFFECT: creation of an anti-icing system for braces operated in difficult meteorological conditions, increasing the convenience and safety of servicing the brace in conditions of snow sticking and ice formation on the braces.
