FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to artificial baits for fishing. The jig consists of a holder which front and rear parts are threaded with a gap in two holes of longitudinal elongated plate. In one embodiment the holder is made of convex metal rod, in the other - the holder in the middle part is made volumetric and narrow in cross section or flat. In both embodiments, the load is attached to the front part of the holder, and on the rear part there is a loop for a hook. In the holder there are holes for attaching the fishing line displaced relative to the centre of gravity of the jig back. The plate located with its longitudinal axis lengthwise to the holder, is made with the ability to rotate around its longitudinal axis in both directions and approaching the raised side parts of the plate extremely rotated to each side at equal distance to a vertical plane passing through the axis of rotation of the plate and the longitudinal axis of the holder without reaching by the side parts of the plate of this vertical plane.

EFFECT: invention provides improved performance of fishing due to high flight characteristics when casting, the ability to self-embedding and effective vibrations of the jig.
