FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: this invention is related to a suction device and a vacuum cleaner. The suction device contains a drive system for actuation of the suction device on the surface being treated, a framework supporting the drive system, a nozzle for removal of particles from the surface being treated, the nozzle designed so that to enable movement relative to the in a direction sideways from the surface being treated; the nozzle contains an inner space forming a hole turned towards the surface being treated and an outlet communicating with the said inner space ; the outlet is designed so that to enable communication with the blower under operation conditions. The suction device additionally contains a connective means for connection of the nozzle to the framework; the connective means is designed so that to enable application of a force directed sideways from the surface being treated when depression in the inner space increases. According to this invention, h standalone vacuum cleaner contains such suction device as well as a dust catching chamber and a blower communicating with the dust-catching chamber. The blower communicates to the outlet to create depression in the nozzle inner space under operation conditions.
EFFECT: problem of the suction device sticking to the floor can be solved or at least decreased; additionally, the drive system linkage can be improved.
