SUBSTANCE: invention relates to varnishing of vehicle body inner and outer surfaces by atomiser 7 of varnishing robot 1. Said robot incorporates dye colour changer with several inlet dye feeders. Separate dye feeders incorporate appropriate dye valve or any other dye control device to shut off or to open dye feed line. Dye colour changer incorporates outlet common dye line to feed selected colour dye to atomiser. Besides dye colour changer has several joint points fed from separate dye lines and dye extractor to be jointed at appropriate joint point. Dye extractor as-jointed withdraws lacquer from appropriate dye feed line to feed extracted lacquer to common dye line. Dye extractor and joint point can displace or rotate relative to each other or displace in some other manner. Dye control device is controlled by control signal. Control signal id directed from dye extractor via joint point to appropriate dye control device. Control signal reaches dye control device solely in case the dye extractor 16 is properly jointed to joint point. Invention covers also the varnishing robot colour changer, dye colour changer module and valve gear. Besides it covers the method of robot operation and coat application device.

EFFECT: easier handling, minimised dye consumption.
