FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coat applier with metering device. Proposed device colour selector 12 spaced apart from sprayer. Said selector incorporates set of valves whereto connected are pipelines 14 of second group for cover material with rarely used colour tones. Outlet 15 of said colour selector 12, shared by pipelines 14 of second group, is connected parallel with pipelines (13, 13') of first group to their metering device (10, 20) or its container (90), or runs parallel with metering device (10, 20) to sprayer.
EFFECT: increased number of colour tones, reduced losses in changing colours.
