FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Vehicle chassis comprises front drive wheels, rear drive wheels, frame with rails and crossbars, drive wheel independent suspensions with resilient members and dampers and main gears driven by the engine. Independent suspensions are articulated with said frame and wheel journals by transverse levers. Main gears are coupled with drive wheels by transverse drive lines. Frame rails are composed of straight parallel beams of identical wall height over their entire length. Said main gears are arranged between said rails and rigidly connected with said frame. Rail wall has opening for cardan shaft to pass there through from main gear to drive wheel. Frame reinforcement elements having cardan shaft passages are connected to frame rails in aforesaid opening area. Crossbars are connected to said reinforcement elements to support main gears, drive wheel suspension transfers lever joints connecting the levers to the frame. Resilient element and drive wheel suspension damper supports are mounted at the frame reinforcements and rails.
EFFECT: decreased loading height.
