FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction of electrolysis devices and can be used for disinfection of natural and sewage waters in economic-drinkable water supply; for disinfection of equipment, premises and constructions in fields of food industry, in health care institutions, catering enterprises, sanatoriums and rest homes, child care institutions, swimming pools, for bleaching, for prevention of biofouling in systems of water heating and cooling. Device for electrochemical processing of liquid contains case with inlet and outlet branch pipes, electrode unit with titanium anodes and cathodes with catalytically active surface, obtained by processing of electrode surface in water solution, containing 300-350 g/l of hydroxylamine hydrochloride and 40-50 g/l of ammonium bifluoride, for 1-2 min at temperature 80-90°C, after which titanium electrodes are washed in hot water and processed in water solution of ammonium fluoride 20-25 g/l and 1-1.5 g/l of urotropine for 0.5-1 min at temperature 18-25°C.
EFFECT: increased productivity with reduced formation of deposits of hardness salts on electrodes.
