FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: rocket engine comprises a body with a nozzle block, front and rear bottoms, an insert charge burning along the outer surface and a sleeve. The cylindrical part of the sleeve is placed with a gap relative to the body and the outer surface of the charge. The sleeve bottom contacts with the charge end and the rear bottom of the engine, and the circular cavity between the sleeve and the body is sealed at the side of the rear bottom. The sleeve is made of a burnt material on the basis of polyesterurethanemethacrylate binder filled with nitrocellulose at the ratio of nitrocellulose : polyesterurethanemethacrylate - 4:1…5:1.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase impulse of rocket engine thrust and to reduce its passive mass.
