FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: casing is made in the form of annular sections enclosing heat insulation and located in series throughout its length so that mutual overlap of their side edges is provided. Each section is made of facing sheets located in series with mutual overlapping of their end sections along closed circuit corresponding to outer surface of heat insulation. Facing sheets in adjacent sections are located opposite each other. Each angular section of each facing sheet is attached in detachable manner by means of self-aligning turning-tightening device to an angular section of one facing sheet and angular sections of two facing sheets located in an adjacent section, which correspond to it and are located with mutual overlapping. Each turning-tightening device includes an insert made in the form of a rectangular cross-piece with similar elements and a tightening clamp arranged above the insert and fixed on it. The tightening clamp includes a ring with four equal pushers, which encloses the insert; the above pushers are regularly located on inner surface of the ring. Each sheet is equipped with four equal projections with three side walls. Two flat side walls of projections are pressed to the side edge of the insert elements, which corresponds to each of them, and each pusher interacts with its working surface with convex cylindrical surface of the third side wall of the projection corresponding to it.

EFFECT: shortening the time spent on installation and dismantling of a protective casing.
