FIELD: heat insulation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for heat insulation of pipelines and cylindrical vessels. Unified metal thermal insulation (UMTI) is made of modules which are docked to each other. At that, each annular heat-insulating assembly UMTI for one radius of insulated equipment consists of identical modules containing a set of coaxial metal membranes with side facets located under external angle Y to plane of membrane, and having unified rectangular (square) metal spiral frames. Various types of thermal insulation blocks of heat insulation are replaced with unified symmetric modules – one type per each radius of insulated equipment. Heat-insulating material of glass fiber or basalt filler is replaced with metal stainless membranes. For mutual detachable connection of modules to each other, annular tension lever locks are used, providing guaranteed reliable contact of side faces of modules during their operation and at occurrence of thermal vibrations, as well as unimpeded mounting and dismounting of adjacent assemblies of modules.
EFFECT: heat insulating assemblies can significantly save weight of stainless steel of thermal insulation, unify thermal insulation, increase operational reliability of heat-insulating modules, due to unification considerably reduce manufacturing cost.
