FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus for diagnosing torque retention loss of a threaded contact connection of current-conducting lines includes a base and an indicator thermobimetallic plate (ITP) with an active and a passive layer, which is in thermal contact with the contact connection, one end of which is rigidly attached to the base, and the opposite end, on the side of the passive layer, is engaged with a support mounted on said base. The base is made on the body of the nut of the threaded contact joint in form of a cylindrical groove formed on the side of the free end of the nut. The ITP is made in form of a section of a winding of a flat spiral spring lying on the base with the rounding of the cylindrical surface by the passive layer outside in the size of the circumference of the nut.

EFFECT: high manufacturability and efficiency of maintaining the apparatus due to easier mounting and adjustment, and clearer visual inspection of its state.
