FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to elements of electric equipment, connection devices, namely to electrical contact connections monitoring devices, and can be used as indicator for detecting of electric devices contact connections overheating, such as automatic circuit breakers. Threaded contact connections overheating indicator comprises thermal bimetallic plate with active and passive layers and latch, plate one end is rigidly fixed and it is in thermal contact with contact connection. Hollow housing consists of coaxially fixed tube, bowl from heat-conducting material and cover from transparent material, heat conducting rod is located in tube with possibility of thermal contact with it by side walls and longitudinal displacement in it, spring is located in tube and provides rod pressing to contact connection, thermal bimetallic plate is made in form of flat helical spring, fixed in cup cavity by outer or inner turn, and at its free turn end pointer indicator is fixed, latch is fixed in cup cavity with possibility of engagement with pointer indicator at thermal bimetal band deformation due to its temperature change, thermal bimetallic plate is in thermal contact with contact connection via overheating indicator rod and housing.
EFFECT: technical result is increasing indicator manufacturability during its production, simplification of indicator setting adjustment and higher accuracy of its setting.
