FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a mechanism for lifting and dropping an armchair leg support. The armchair legs lifting mechanism contains a stationary base installed below the armchair seat and a pull-out leg support positioned under the seat and pivotally connected to the base via a system of levers of the pantograph type. Pivotally mounted on the base are two grips for the mechanism terminal positions (those of opening and closure). The grips are pivotally connected to each other via a rod, the lever consisting of a system of levers pivotally attached to the base and having a means for gripping the grips. The grips are connected to the grips release handle and are spring-loaded.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of the design and reliable fixation of the support in terminal positions.
