FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to adjustable armchairs. The device for sitting includes a frame element comprising a base element and a vertical support element vertically extending from it; and a part for a seat, supported by a vertical supporting element and having an anterior and a rear segments. The anterior segment has a first, normal position for the seat in which its upper surface is at the same level with the upper surface of the rear segment, so that the upper surfaces of both segments conjointly form a substantially flat surface of the seat, and the second position in which the seat is configured so that to have the first seating surface formed by the rear segment, and the second seating surface, essentially parallel to it and located one level lower than the first surface formed by the anterior segment. The anterior segment is switched between two positions by rotating around the hinge on the front end of the seat.
EFFECT: more comfortable location of the user in an armchair in a variety of positions.
