SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to an automatic injector for drug injection to a patient. The automatic injector has a flexible container, a needle, a body, a pump and an actuating mainspring. The flexible container comprises a liquid drug. The needle is coupled with the container. The body comprises the container. The pump is integrated into the body to couple with the flexible container and to eject the drug from the container through the needle during a relative motion between the same and the container. The actuating mainspring is directly coupled with the needle to project the needle from its first position wherein the needle is completely immersed into the body into its second position wherein the needle projects from the body.

EFFECT: invention is simple and reliable in use and economically advantageous in production.
