FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a liquid-drop metered-dose inhaler for drug delivery comprising an elongated tubular body; a drug container; a container holder detachably connected with the body; and also at least one axially-moveable piston; a dose setting handle used to set a dose ejected by accumulating a rotary force; a power-assisted mechanism transforming the rotary force into the axial force applied to the piston, and thereby generating a pressure inside the above drug container; an actuator mechanically connected with the power-assisted mechanism; a mouth-piece mechanically connected with the container holder; a drop generator having a number of through holes and mounted inside the mouth-piece with the holes being in the fluid connection with both the container, and the mouth-piece; the device further comprises a rotation dampener mechanically connected with the power-assisted mechanism to damp the initial pressure-jump inside the above drug container.
EFFECT: invention enables more accurate drug dose metering.
