Described are methods of producing a cobalt Fischer-Tropsch synthesis catalyst, which involve preparation of a granular support from starting material - oxides of group III and IV metals, mixing the latter with modifying additives, followed by calcining, saturation with cobalt compounds, followed by calcining and activation of the catalyst in a current of a hydrogen-containing gas during Fischer-Tropsch synthesis.

EFFECT: low power consumption of the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis process.
