FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: simulating acute destructive purulent coxitis in laboratory animals is ensured by an open blood supply damage of a whirl bone by transection and ligation of a round ligament of the whirl bone. The ligation is preceded by hip joint infection by introducing a pathogenic culture of microorganisms into the vessels of the transected ligament. The destructive processes are stimulated by area-limited cartilage disintegration in the loaded areas in contact within the femoral bone and cotyloid cavity.
EFFECT: method provides the effective and fast-paced model of the disease with a low mortality of the laboratory animals.
