FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used to control an AC rectifier with distributed energy accumulators with three phase modules, which have accordingly one upper and one lower branch of valves, which are equipped accordingly with three electrically serially connected dipole subsystems (10). In accordance with the invention the failed subsystems (10) of a faulty branch (T2) of valves and the subsystem (10) of a good branch (T1) of valves of a faulty phase module (100), corresponding to the quantity of failed subsystems, are shorted, capacitor voltages (Uc) of remaining subsystems (10) of the faulty phase module (100), are increased in such a manner that their sum is equal to the sum of capacitor voltages (Uc) of subsystems (10) of the good phase module (100), and the subsystem (10) of good phase modules (100) are controlled as if before a failure of one subsystem (10). Therefore, at the outputs (L1, L2, L3) of the AC rectifier (102) with distributed energy accumulators (9) in case of a failure a symmetric system of voltages is produced with maximum amplitude.
EFFECT: generation of a symmetrical system of voltages in case of an accumulator failure.
