METHOD OF HEALTH IMPROVEMENT OF PLANTING POTATOES AND DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC A01F25/00

Abstract RU 2494604 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method of health improvement of planting potatoes lies in passing through a layer of potatoes of flow of direct current. A layer of potatoes is placed between the electrodes, on one of which, ungrounded, a voltage of negative polarity is served, the value of which is increased until the emergence of a quiet corona discharge on the needles of the corona treatment unit connected with the receiving electrode. The current is passed for 2-3 minutes, after which the current is switched off, the residual electric charge is removed from both electrodes and the voltage is served on the ungrounded electrode of opposite positive polarity, which value is increased until the emergence of a quiet corona discharge on the needles of the corona treatment unit connected with the receiving electrode. It is maintained for 2-3 minutes, after which the current is switched off and the residual electric charge is removed from both electrodes. The invention also relates to a device for health improvement of planting potatoes by the action of electric current.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain high-quality planting material, free from virus, viroid, mycoplasmal and other infections and due to electrical stimulation of growth giving even sprouts and high yield.
