FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Surgical sewing instrument contains drive. Drive is configured with possibility of deviation with respect to distal end of disposable charging unit and rotation of rest between open position and closed position. Drive can include cam, and cam can have arch-like profile with apex, configured in such a way that it is in contact with rest, when rest is in closed position. In, at least, one such version of implementation rest can apply compressing effort on soft tissue to pushing out staples and prevent or, at least, impede slipping out or pressing out soft tissue from distal end of disposable charging unit.
EFFECT: in different versions of implementation surgical sewing instrument can include disposable charging unit with rest, which can move between open, closed and/or folded positions to facilitate insertion of disposable charging unit through trocar.
