FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automation of rolling and can be used for strip cold and hot rolling. In rolling, process parameters are averaged for strip section with consumer properties in preset limits. Averaged process parameters are used as reference in rolling said strip section of the same or similar gage. At strip sections with consumer properties falling beyond preset standards, deviation of averaged process parameters from preset limits is defined to correct said strip rolling parameters. Note here that refinement of process parameters for new strip is carried by algebraic summation of averaged deviations and appropriate averaged process parameters related to strip section whereat consumer properties stray in preset limits.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of indirect adjustment of consumer properties and decreased portion of off-standard products.
