FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises measurement of process parameters, isolation of strip lengths for further averaging of measured process parameters at every said length. Normative portion is set for strip length divided in sections for particular range. Consumer properties are defined at every rolled strip section subject to averaged measured process parameters of section rolling. Definite consumer properties are compared with preset limits of consumer properties. Strip length portion whereat consumer properties fall within preset limits is defined to be set as a reference at strip rolling of the same range or near range if said obtained portion does not fall beyond said normative portion. Or said process parameters are refined at a new strip if said portion falls lower than normative magnitude.
EFFECT: higher precision is ensured by pre-estimation of steel chemical composition and metal heating in kiln prior to hot rolling Additionally, cooling water temperature and other additional parameters are measured at hot rolling to perform correlation-regressive analysis and calculation of regression equations for definition of consumer properties subject to measured process parameters and other factors.
