FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of separating substances from electrolyte solutions with their following discharge on electrodes, and can be applied for separation of substances or for increasing substance concentration in solution. Essence of invention consists in the fact that method of separating substances from electrolytes includes pipe of rectangular section, made from dielectric material with bifurcation on the end, with placed along external lateral sides metal plates and two containers with placed in them electrodes and connected to each other with current conductor. Separation in electrolyser is takes place due to difference of electric potentials of metal plates, isolated from electrolyte solution, and discharge of ions takes place on electrodes in containers, where liquids are isolated from each other.
EFFECT: invention solves the problem of separation of substance ions, reduction of energy consumption, acceleration of separation process and reduction of equipment dimensions.
