FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation anti-icing agents used at low temperatures. Disclosed is use of a composition which contains 1,3-propylene glycol, one or more surfactants, one or more corrosion inhibitors, one or more acidity regulators and water, to remove frozen water from the surface of an airplane and/or to prevent formation of frozen water thereon at temperature below -32°C.
EFFECT: improved anti-icing properties with low toxicity of the composition.
