FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves oxidising articles made from aluminium and alloys thereof in acidic solutions for 30-50 minutes, further holding in boiling aqueous sodium hydroxide solution with concentration of 0.2-0.4 g/l for 40-50 minutes and then heating. The solvent used in acidic solutions is deionsed water and subsequent heating is carried out in three steps. First, the articles are heated to 260-270°C and held for 3-5 minutes, then heated to 460-470°C and held for 3-5 minutes and then heated to 530-545°C and held for 8-15 minutes.
EFFECT: larger thickness of coatings, high electrical resistance thereof, high corrosion resistance thereof in neutral and acidic media, shorter duration of holding coated articles when heating.
