FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: electric current from a DC source is supplied to the element of incandescence of a pyrotechnical item, the moment t1 of current supply is fixed, as well as the value of the supplied current I. The moment of pyrotechnical item charge ignition t2 is fixed by the moment of vibration occurrence on the body of the pyrotechnical item, the time is defined for initiation of the pyrotechnical item T and for production of dependence of initiation time T on different values of the supplied current I, the above operations are repeated at different values of current. The device for determination of pyrotechnical item actuation characteristics consists of a breaking circuit with a source of power supply connected to an element of incandescence of a pyrotechnical item. It includes a device for vibration detection installed on a pyrotechnical item, and a unit for determination of initiation time. The break circuit comprises the following serially connected components: a power supply source, a key for circuit closing, an element of incandescence of a pyrotechnical item, a device for measurement of current force in the breaking circuit. Outputs of the vibration detection device and current force measurement device are electrically connected to inputs of the initiation time determination unit.

EFFECT: improved reliability of tests.
