FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric primers and is intended for independent ignition of explosives, pyrotechnical compositions, etc. for example in fireworks, or as a part of electric initiation devices and pyroautomation. An electric igniter includes a plug, current-carrying elements, to which a fuse head is attached and an igniting composition applied onto the fuse head. The fuse head is made in the form of a layer from resistive material, which is applied onto a plate from dielectric material. In the resistive layer there is a transverse groove - a slot the length of which is 0.3-0.5 of resistive layer width. Specific resistance of resistive material is at least 5 Ohm·mm2/m. Corundum-based ceramics is used as dielectric material. For the purpose of convenient soldering to current-carrying elements onto the end faces of the fuse head there applied is a current-carrying coating having good adhesion to a solder, for example a tin coating.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing resistance of electric primers to electrical actions and creating an electric igniter having 1 A safe current and 1 W safe power.
