FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in the following: a bearing is prepared for assembly in compliance with a procedure regulated with a technological process; it is installed on test bench equipment; conditions and operating modes in the item are simulated, and normalised integral time of microcontacting is measured, as per which type of lubricant in the bearing is determined by comparing it to the value corresponding to transition to boundary lubricant, 0 or 1. In case value of parameter of microcontacting time is equal to 0 or 1, average electric resistance is measured, as per which the bearing state is assessed. When the value of the above parameter is in the range of the value of transition to boundary lubricant to 1, the following value that is reverse to the above parameter is measured: normalised integral time of integrity of surface films. The bearing state is assessed as per calculated relative coefficient of lubricating ability, which depends on nominal surface area of a contact spot of maximum loaded rolling body with a ring and density of microroughnesses of surfaces.
EFFECT: improving monitoring reliability of bearing state.
