FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method of cancer cell detection in pleural fluid or ascitic fluid in the patients suspected of malignant growths providing taking exudate from the examined patient in the amount of 10 ml; the serous fluid from the patient's pleural or abdominal cavity is placed in an artificial medium pressurised to make the entire examined exudate pass through a calibrated filter with a pore diameter of one thousand nanometres; the cancer cells are kept in a precipitation on the calibrated filter; the precipitation is applied on the slides pre-defatted and cooled to improve the cancer cell adherence and drying; then imprinted smears are fixed with 3% alcoholic Leishman solution for 2-4 minutes, further washed with distilled water and stained with an azure eosin mixture in ratio 3:1 for 15 minutes, washed with distilled water after staining, air-cured and observed under the microscope.

EFFECT: reduced time of analysis, higher accuracy of primary diagnosing in the patient, ease of implementation and availability.
